Photo courtsey of Flickr user the thePhotoZoo

In this beautiful photograph all I can see is the water and what is appears to be seven tower-like rocks and a small piece of land in the distance. This reminds me of the calm after a storm.  The sky is a light gray color with no other additional highlights.  The water seems to be so calm that one could just float in it without being disrupted.  Above the water there is a wispy, thin layer of fog that is just hovering over the water.  The way the fog is laying in the photo makes it look like there is a light breeze because the fog is swirled in all different directions.

The rock towers are casting shadows onto the water creating a darker color.  The rocks seem to be covered in algae and moss.  Below the first set of the rock towers, there appears to be smaller rocks or pebbles that are half buried into the sand.  These rocks and pebbles are barely visible through the murky water.  The small pebbles almost look like footprints within the sand.

There is also washed up seaweed on the sand where the water meets the shore.  In the distance you can see land which appears to look like an island or mountains.  The effects of the black and white in the photo give the impression that a severe storm just hit and this is the after-math of what had happened.
